How to Insert Images into your Messages

Open up your message editior by selecting Message > New

You must ensure that 'Rich Text HTML' is selected in the message editor.

When you are ready to insert your pictures please select 'Insert' from the top of the menu bar and then select from the dropdown list, 'Picture...'

Alternatively you can select the 'Insert Image' icon in your Message editor

You will then see a new window which will have two options. You will have to choose one of the options in order for your picture to be visible in the email.

Local Image

If you have pictures saved on your computer and want to use them then you must use the first option 'Local Image'. This will embed the picture in your message. You must then either enter in the location of the image or browse through your computer to locate the image which you want to enter into your message.

NOTE: IMAGES MUST BE IN THE FOLLOWING FORMATS - .GIF, .JPEG, .PNG

When you select the image you want to enter in please choose 'Open' and this will automatically create the address to the folder for your image.

Then choose 'OK'. You will then see your image in your email message.

When your message is complete please click on the 'Send' button at the top of your message editor.

You will then have the 'Spell check' function popup. Click 'Next'.

Then you will see the 'Prepare to Send Message…' window. Please click 'Continue'.

You have now successfully sent your message including the image to your group.
 

Remote Image (URL)

If you have a website and the image is pictured there, you can copy the image address into this field. To find out the Image URL, please go to the webpage that contains the image. Right click on the image and select 'Properties'.

Go to where it states 'Address (URL)':. Then highlight,

copy and paste the image URL (Example: 'http://www.infacta.com/images/article_images/122_1.gif') into the URL Image field in your message editor.

Then please click on 'OK'. You will then see the image appear in your message editor.

When your message is complete please click on the 'Send' button at the top of your message editor.

You will then have the 'Spell check' function popup. Click 'Next'.

Then you will see the 'Prepare to Send Message...' window. Please click 'Continue'.

You have now successfully sent your message including the image url to your group.
