In this Tutorial you will learn:
- How to create an Exclusion Lists to ensure that specified recipients do not receive certain e-mail.
- How to exclude recipients from all groups or from specified groups.
- How to use the Exclusion List Manager to add and remove individual recipients.
- How to import and export recipient lists.

Creating an Exclusion List |
1. Open the Exclusion List Manager (Tools > Exclusion List Manager).
2. In the Exclusion List window, click Add.
3. Enter the e-mail address for exclusion, and the group(s) from which to exclude this address, and then close the window. (See Fig 2)

Removing an Excluded Address |
1. Open the Exclusion List Manager (Tools > Exclusion List Manager).
2. In the Exclusion List window, select a recipient to remove and click Remove.
- To remove multiple recipients, use the Shift or Control keys to select the recipients. Then click Remove.
- To remove all recipients, click Remove All.
3. When prompted, confirm that you want to remove the recipient(s).
4. Close the window.

Importing a List of E-mail Addresses to Exclude |
1. Open the Exclusion List Manager (Tools > Exclusion List Manager).
2. In the Exclusion Manager window, click Import and the Exclusion List Import window opens. (See Fig 3)

3. In the Import from: field; select either A File or The Windows Clipboard. If you select A File, navigate to the appropriate text file.
4. Select the group(s) into which you want to import the list of addresses.
5. Click OK.

Exporting a List of Excluded E-mail Addresses |
1. Open the Exclusion List Manager (Tools > Exclusion List Manager).
2. Highlight the addresses to export.
3. In the Exclusion Manager window, click Export and the Exclusion List Export window opens

4. In the Export to: field, enter a new filename or navigate to an existing file. If you want, you can export all exclusion details by checking the
Export all Exclusion details checkbox.
Note: If you use an existing filename, GroupMail will overwrite that file.
5. Click OK.
